Tyre Insurance?

I picked up my new Porsche Boxster last Saturday, and the finance guy encouraged me to buy the tyre insurance at £350. Anybody any experience of whether or not this is a good buy?

Seems like a lot of money to me[:-]

A couple of years ago, I had to have two new rears fitted and the insurance was only £25 per tyre.

For £350 I'd expect free tyres forever![:D]
