Tyre choice , Michelin

Will be needing to change 2 tyres on my 992.1 currently on Pirelli .
I have got the option of Michelin Sport 4S or Michelin Super Sport with small price difference as an alternative to Pirelli which is more expensive.
Any recommendations or experience please, normal driving condition and no tracking or racing.
Also current loading on all wheels are 101 where as the replacement is 105 does it matter?

If changing over to Michelin, you will need to replace all four tyres to remain within Porsche's recommendations.

A higher tyre load rating is fine, a lower one would be a problem.

NAO is the latest Porsche model-specific rating, NO is the previous one.

Do you mean is mixing tyres related to warranty?
It's mainly related to vehicle handling since the tyres have different characteristics. Also, you will be unable to pass an Extended Warranty review.

Hi,
Moved from Pirelli to Michelin 4S on my 992.1 GTS, found the ride more compliant and wet handling also more secure, haven’t tried Super sports but wouldn’t go back to Pirelli now
 
Hi, Have a look at the recent post ‘Tyre ratings and development’ and a further tech note that Clive gave a link to in his reply. I have just arranged to replace my tyres with Goodyear Ass 3 as mentioned in that post.
