Tyre Blow out

Just thought I would share this with you - travelling down the M4 on my way to a meeting in Bristol this morning & a front tyre went belly up whilst doing 80(ish) in the outside lane. Having got the car into the hard shoulder & put on the silly spare I carried on - at 50 mph.

When I got to my meeting on the outskirts of Bristol, phoned up Kwikfit. They turned up, with the correct tyre, within 40 minutes! I have to say, I was mightily impressed! I didn' t fancy driving all the way back to Herts at 50!

Moral - carry Quikfit' s number with you in the car!

sounds like a close shave!

Glad you were able to carry on your journey! Could have been a very different outcome!
