Turbo bodykits [PICS]

Dont post here anymore as not a Porsche owner, or much of a fan anymore...still look in though to see whats going on, and I have to say Alex that those pics of the sharkwerks turbo do it for me....that has got to be the best Porsche TT I have seen...just the right amount of aggression added with the kit..thats the way it should look OEM. I am not a fan of 'kitted' cars in general, and some of those other kits are OTT..it is a disgrace to expensive top end models to do a 'halfords' IMHO..leave that to the americans! Anyway I shall leave it there..like I said absolutley stunning that one is Alex, first porker in ages to actually make me go 'Woooahhh'

I also went 'wooooahhh' when I saw the price! I could instead buy my Mrs a new (well spec'ed) Mazda MX-5 for the same amount! So, no won't be getting this kit right now, and sadly not for quite some time - well until at least the Euro rate isn't so dire.

Too much?

I LOVE it but there's no way I could own a car that in your face!

Kit with the vent looks awesome, shame Phil couldn't get the price right, have you really hammered him?

Sadly with the current exchange rate, even if he gave me 50% off it's still too expensive!

That bloomin' EUR-GBP exchange rate keeps going the wrong way!! Come on Brown, call an election so we can get things moving in the right direction again! I am still thinking about doing the TechArt kit 2 conversion but the price isn't getting any less eye-watering [:(] Added a few extra pics to the first post. Such as:

You joke but I have been keeping my eyes on the Scuderia used prices for a while now, they are coming down nicely (just not the spyder 16M ones yet [:(]). So it soon may be a viable option. When the 458 starts getting more available I'm sure the 430 prices will plummet [8D] Nicky said she'd buy herself a Lambo LP560-4 Spyder for her 40th, as her Accountancy practice should have conquered the world by then given her track record thus far [;)]. Not sure I can wait that long for a supercar update though. Plus with kids coming along all our money will soon go on them in terms of private schools etc [&:]

Alex Kid's will mean bigger house - don't need one but you'll want one no matter how big the current house is, then there is the his and hers Audi Estate/Range Rover upgraded on regular occasions for running the kids and dogs around, the Holiday home for you and the kids before we get to the private schools and the trust fund to enable them to go to university 'cause it'll cost so much by the time their 18 and the trust fund to give them a house deposit as in 18 years house price to income ratios will be astronomical............ Buy the body kit while you can..........................................

How much is the kit fitted not including the rims, the kit is awesome it annoys me that cant porsche do something like this as an option from new?

With the exchange rate getting worse all the time you are looking at about £20k for this kit fitted now. I'm sure after the hung parliment election result it will be even worse.

20K is ridiculas, I would have thought no more than 6-7 K without rims. Looks like I wont be getting one then.....[:(]

Yes indeed, a beauty! That's a type 2 kit though not a GT Street kit like it suggests - indicating the footballer couldn't give an accurate description of his own car to the dealer! If the Euro gets back up to 1.5 GBP then I will do this, unlikely to happen though these days...

Hi Alex

I have a 997.2 with a Turbo body kit that I’m just about to swap back to the original front and rear. If you are interested I have pictures of my car as it is now with the Turbo body kit on. It would obviously come with all the ancillary equipment.
