Require to replace the Auxiliary Water Pump on my 1988 951

Searching the net shows a No of alternative Bosch pumps that will work, Part Nos 0392020024 & 0392020026 & probably others, It appears that the hose fittings on the 0024 pump are slightly larger ?

There appears to be a reference on the engine re-build thread from 'Scam 75' that says that there is a pump that has the same size hose fittings to the original Porsche one ?

Does anyone know Part No's for a pump having the same size hose fittings ?

@scam75 - you able to help out Ben with the details of your pump?

I am indeed. Got mine from Autodoc, was quick and cheap delivery. Pump is identical other than the 2 pin connector plug, so you'll need to cut the plug off your old pump and put it on the new pump. Pump from Porsche with correct plug is about a grand!

Total cost for me (in 2022), £55.98 inc. vat and delivery (pump £39.61, vat £9.33, delivery £7.04). Autodoc part number 0 392 020 024 (Water pump, parking heater). Hose fittings were exact same. I have a 90 turbo. Actually I think you need a 2 pin junior timer plug as well. See here:
