turbo air flow meter query

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a refurbished air flow meter. My car is a late 944t.

I've read there's a difference in the air flow meter between early and late cars. My query is if there is any difference in the air flow meters for the early and late turbos? Can anyone help with a definitive answer?

Thanks in advance.

I can only find one part number so perhaps they are all the same but stand to be corrected if any one knows better.

part no. 951 606 121 01

Looking at it again, i think the part number quoted in the link is the Bosch part number and not the porsche part number.

I did a quick google and from what I can tell that part number is ok, it's the bosch number instead of the Porsche number. At the price asked I'd say that's a very good deal if it is indeed fairly new as the vendor says.

Yes mate that is the Bosch number. As Pete says that is not a bad price if it is what it says it is. I bet you could buy it and sell it for more [;)] Not as good as the ex garage test unit I bagged for £29.99 in an auction though [;)]

The old Promax site used to have a lot of useful information about AFM and ECU part numbers, along with their Bosch part numbers too.

Unfortunately the p*ss-poor new site, which I havent managed to avoid being bumped on to, doesnt list any of this.

I mentioned this to Andy who agrees. I believe that a new site is in the offing, hopefully with access to this information again.
