Track day wheels

You may be better off either looking at Mille Miglia copies 7.5" Fr, 9"Rear or perhaps some OE Cup 1s in either 7"/9" or the setup I intend to use which is 8"Fr and 9.5"Rear again these can be bought from Jasmine although the 9.5"s are not cheap.
All above are x17", you could also look at 18" Speedlines, these were an option (orig fit on my RS) but again these are £££, copies are also available from companies ike PWS in Blackpool made by RH etc.
Cheers,
Kevin.

I have sorted my wheels out. I have found another set of mags and ordered a set of R888, they appear to be out of stock every where !! My first event in the car is on Sunday, so I hope to put in some good times.

There were 7.5'' fitted to the 928 and 968. Both hard to come by but they do exist.
I have a set of the 928 wheels on my car, ET65 front and ET55 rear. I think the 968 were the correct ET55 all round.
The 968 has 7.5 17s with an offset of et 65 same as the 928.
I picked up a set of original 18" speedlines in Europe recently.
