I'm sure I remember Des promising there'd be no mistakes in this one though ........, but I'm pretty sure I remember reading something suggesting that they moved the ABS unit onto the rear seat bulkhead on the NGT, and I'm pretty sure it was only the Motronic box that was relocated there ????? (sorry, particularly anal of me ....)

I see that the fuel tank in the photo is stated at 92 L but I am sure that RHD versions had the smaller tank and that the larger item was only fitted to the later models. Mine has one Chassis no 1975.Also chassis no can be found on the Left hand A pillar. I am surprised by the number of owners that I have met that did not realise this.
Fairly sure that the lightweight 1991 Carrera 4 was not badged RS.
Its about time Octane magazine or similar did a feature as really, the 964RS is still a bit of a secret!

I notice in the picture on page 19 that the bonnet shows exactly the same slight miss alignement as mine. Half way up on the left (left in picture not left of car) the bonnet/wing gap is tight. At the bottom on the right the gap is too large. Is this a standard RS feature (I am sure that the detail build quality is poor on the RS) or have or cars had exactly the same accident!

the engine black box in the Cup car sits vertically behind the driver´s seat, that surely gives the harness the room it needs. Additional, if my memory is correct, these black boxes belonged to Porsche factory and were handed out before the race, like in a lottery. So, the position of the black box made it very easy to put them in and out and by the lottery method Porsche made sure all the teams had the same black boxes......
Otherwise all animals would have been equal, but some would have been more equal
