Time to recommission my Turbo, been off road for 5 years

Sorry no updates but I am back at this. Rebuilding calipers the now, will update with some pics and info soon

Ref. fuel lines - I took the complete dual pipes to my hydraulic man - he replaced the rusty sections and flexi pipes at the front with braided SS - back was compression fitting with olives - he reckoned (and its still fine 8 yrs later) that fuel pipes never run more than ~ 5bar so olives and compression fittings fine

So I have crimped SS flexis into the engine compartment and same over the rear axle - whilst I had the rear axle down I also replaced the brake lines front to back and over the Torque tube

Years ago, when the galvanised fuel lines under my Audi 80 rotted out, I replaced part of them with high pressure rubber fuel hose and appropriate clamps. It helped that I worked for Gates at the time, and took advice from a suitably qualified engineer. And also that I got the hose for free.

The place I get replacement copper brake pipes from in Bootle is generally a commercial vehicle factors & will do replacement fuel pipes in copper of appropriate size & fittings to replace the OE steel ones.
