tick over correction when AC on

Hi guys,

I have 964 with standard engine, AC, rs LWF, the car is remapped with a after market ECU, witch corrects the tick over when AC is on, but I wonder if the tick over is not too height but also correction seams to be hight as well,

tick over is 1000 rpm,
when AC is ON, correction comes to 1200/1300 rpm,

thanks your comments

Konstantin, The exact value will depend on your engine but i think around 900/950 for the basic idle , i would aim for that and adjust it up a bit if you find the engine stalls when you change gear or when pulling to a halt. As for the "idle up" on a/c request value again the minimum that you can get away with which would be as close to the standard idle as possible, indeed the idle is not supposed to rise on a/c request rather maintain the idle with the extra engine load that the a/c compressor places on the engine. Sometimes however the idle up request and the compressor cut in points don't quite happen exactly and you perceive the idle increase before the load is placed on the engine.basically as long as the engine does not stall when the a/c is operating at idle the value is ok. I hope that makes sense.
