This is a nice one for sale

If the car is as good as it appears from the ad, then I certainly wouldn't sell it for less than £4,900, so I don't see any reason why he should. Buying a cheaper one and getting it to that condition would cost a lot more.
My only quibble with the car is that you can;t really describe something as "concours" when it's on the wrong wheels, but it's not exactly hard to refurb a set of D90s.

Does seem a very good car, concours condition some people use this term for a nice shiney no dents condition vehicle and not in the true meaning.
I would question why the original stone guards were removed, if it's had paint no problem and why only 3 months MOT? Surely it has got to be a selling point for the sake of £55?

But it is good that the prices seem to be creeping up...and why not!

May be very decent / good but I doubt the "as new" remark with 135k on the clock would stand up to much scrutiny. That said, buy on condition.

Well, we'll see. It may or may not sell this time, of course - it's the wrong time of year, really, salt going down on the roads already - but £7,250, while top end for an S2, is reasonable if it is in reality a genuinely top-end car.

£7250? Crikey. I'd rather have the JMG s2 for £5.5k (with warranty) that some were implying was too much for an S2! The thread is around somewhere. If it's concours standard then it will be excellent for sure but very few s2 seen to make this amount for a private sale.
