Far more detail needed. It's like asking "I'd like to buy an Escort"; we might recommend a MK1 RS1800 but you really want an XR3. [&:] Budget, what use it'll get, whether you work on it yourself, want to modify it, all important things to consider.im thinking of buying a 944 whats opinions about what model is best

I don't really know anything about those - except I don't think there's anyone on this forum who as one, were they really that bad?I am sure we can all agree that whatever your budget, a 944S (16 Ventilier) is not "best".
