just a few shots of the 964, we had it prepaired by ring racing at the nordschliffe.
new suspension setup, cage, seats, harness, few engine mods, new clutch, gearbox.
looks good,, do you think !

Car looks great, what exactly did you have done and I presume it is set up for use at the Ring. Looks great on the big wheels.

Hi Yoda,
Yes, It was set up for the ring by 'RING-RACING.DE and it has a suspension that was specifically for the 964 model for the ring, it is still quite stiff but notoverly harsh.
The wheels look good allright, but we have a set of 17's that we will put a set of pilot cups on during the summer.
As for the engine, we just sorted out a few leaks etc although i'm giving serious thought to supercharging it ...WOO HOO.
We will probably take it home from Germany for the winter, so Mondello here we come ..

Those wheels look nice - are they Speedlines or another manufacturer?
I like the steering wheel as well, do you know which model Momo steering wheel it is?

Hi Rich, i'll see which momo it is and post the code , i think the wheels are a meile meile, not sure , they were on the car when we got it.

If you look closely you can see that the front has been lowered slightly more than the rear.
This was done by ring racing to bring the center of gravity / weight of the engine forward more towards the centre of the car, an interesting concept that i was dubious about at first but from what i saw seems to work.
Has anyone seen this before ?

Basically since the first 901 (1963) was let loose on the ring, the cars ran 1 degree lower with the nose...[]

So the principle is early but this execution is perhaps a fine honed interpretation. Nice car and congrats: what a toy to play with!!!!

Yep its a real treat allright but its slightly underpowered, the only place you really notice it is on the immediate up hill corner up uot of Adenau, too fast for 2nd and just not enough grunt in 3rd ( or maybe i'm just too slow around there !! ). as i said we are considering Ninemeister for supercharging.
