The "Brighton 2013" Thread.

I'm in coming from oxford so early morning for me!!

My name shouldn't be on the list. I've got trophies to win at Prescott Hillclimb that day. Hopefully there'll be no such date clash in 2014. It's a shame, as Mark at JMG has got my turbo running very nicely now and a trip to Brighton would've been fun. If I wasn't otherwise engaged Jon I'd happily have been your invalid carriage...but as it is, Jume 9th is a Maserati race day for me.

Going to have to drop out of this one now, I'm afraid. Got a family event the day before the other end of the country, and I'm not going to get down in time (i.e. convince the wife to get up at 5am so I can make my porsche do!) Gutted. I hope the weather holds for you all!

I may as well put down my name down as a definite :). Whether I will stop via Pease Pottage services or go straight there will depend on matters closer to the time (and whether I stay in Brighton...).

Gents, rendezvous time at Clacket Lane 8am for a coffee before the run down to Brighton "Brighton 2013" attendees Confirmed Pete - Ex-skyline Andy Watson Andy - Hairyarse Joss Walker Craiginuk Leeward Matey Jonjeffryes Greg James Andre Angulla ChasR Max Lipinski Hopefully Paul Mcnulty Paul - Diver944 Suffolk944

I am still on for the run, will go to clacketts first, it will be myself, and significant other. cheers

Brilliant!! Good effort chaps [:D]. Brian can't wait to give you all the 5hit5.....erm, I mean to serve you all the best egg, bacon or sausage sarnies on the South Coast [:D]!! Andy, I was thinking maybe a little earlier than 08:00 coz of all the chaos with those average speed cameras. I was hoping to see everyone at Pease Pottage for around 08:00. Whadya' reckon? Also Andy, is anyone from the Tipec forum coming along? I know you pop in there from time to time. If 8am is too early for the majority then, obviously we can make it later. It's just that if the weather is good, we should get to Brians Café early enough to beat the Hells Angels to all the outside tables [;)][8D][:D]

Just popped in from the Tipec Forum. I'm hoping to get my car legal by the 9th (windscreen, Tax and MOT). Hope to make it to join you at Clacketts Lane by 8.00. Not sure A23 is best route south with the roadworks. Is it worth thinking about A22 through East Grinstead, Forest Row, toward Lewes and A27 into Brighton? Hope to meet you all next week. Just read through the feed again. Is it 8.00am at Clacketts Lane or Pease Pottage?

The A23 does move, but the average speed cameras are a pain. The other routes seem a little long winded IME. Saying that, going to Brighton does not take much longer than a couple of hours for me from Warwick.

Hi Pete, General consensus is 8am at Clackets, same as last year (it is Sunday after all [:D]) There are Tipec names on the list already, and hopefully we will get a few more, shame some of the boys can't make it as it was looking like a really healthy crowd. Take a note of my number in case you want to call on the day.

It'll probably blow up [:(]

Number duly noted Andy. I am going to head for Pease Pottage. Two lots of average speed cameras, twice in one day will send me over the edge []. Take down my number and give me a bell when you lot are leaving Clacketts. [:D] Cheers mate. Pete :- 07785-527782.

Right then, I'm going to Pease Pottage for 08:00 if any others would like to meet me there instead of going to Clacketts. We can have a coffe there and then either wait for the Clacketts Lane boys to come thundering past and join them or, Blast down to Brighton on our own and bagsy all the outside tables before all the Hells Angels get there [;)]. Sounds like a plan [:D]. Pete
