The "Brighton 2013" Thread.

Yes, in principle, but it's getting in to my work season. I'll really only be 100% sure a week or so before, but hopefully I can make it this year. [:)]

Put it on my calender but noted it is only a week after a 5 week job is due to finish in the shetland islands - not had the order through for that yet though so fingers crossed I will be there!

It's on my calender too but I'll confirm a few weeks before as I have work commitments coming up. It'll be like reviving the old Hastings meet we used to do on the south coast [:)] What was the name of the guy who used to organise that but then disappeared?[&:]

Yes, topless activity indeed along Madeira Drive at Black Rock Beach in June [;)][:D], although,it will probably be Male topless (and bottomless) activity in June [:D]!! Joking aside, the talent tottering along the Seafront around that time of year, especialy if it is sunny, is absolutely staggering [8D]!!

Hope you're not referring to my niece [;)]

Today i have just ordered some metal, comemerative plaques i designed over the past couple of weeks [8D]. This took me three goes as the first two attempts were deemed to be too offensive by my missus []. However, the third attempt passed the "Board of Censorship" and, are now duly being processed. I hope you are all going to like them [:(], i think they look quite cool [8D]. They are like a metal credit card with a piccy of a 944 engraved on them, and, the word's "Brighton Hoon-2013". I was also thinking of having the words, "PCGB-TIPEC" engraved down each side of the plaque but, can't make up my mind? What say you all? I have two weeks to confirm the proof before they get made. I have asked that they do NOT come with double sided fixing tape already fixed on the back of them, figuring that if someone wants to stick one on their dash (or wherever), a bit od double sided sticky tape is readily available in Halfrauds or B+Q. So, what's it going to be then eh? "PCGB-TIPEC" or not "PCGB-TIPEC". Maybe have a Poll? But someone with more computer skills than me will have to sort that one out. C'mon chaps........the clock is ticking [;)][:D]

Hey Pete, nice idea a little momento of the day, personally I would leave out the clubs altogether it's more of a register thing. How about.. "944 Brighton Hoon" 2nd Annual meet June 2013 And then the pic of the car to the right?

Hi Andy, yeah, i was thinking about leaving the club names out. It was just an idea i had at the time [:)]. Your idea is almost identical to mine anyway [8D]. Great minds think alike mate (probably because we're both Plumbers [;)]) I will get five done for last year's meet, 2012 (I think it was five cars that turned up-correct me if i'm wrong). Regards. Pete.

Since my sister is going to university in Brighton I may as well put my name down as a hopeful :).

Hi As a newbee, would like to come along, if that is ok ?, what time do you meet at Clackets Lane? It sounds like a good day out.[:)] cheers

Hi Lee and welcome, Of course you can come along, see dates below in my signature for other 944 events for this year. Time not set for Cackets as yet, if I remember we met there at about 8.30 last year. And we do like pics [:D]
