Guy from around the corner has just bought a "D" plate 220 Turbo which has been stored in a heated garage and covered 1k in the last 4 years, mint body which has had some paint for stone chips solid sills and wing bottoms, mint interior bar a slight bit of wear on the bolster, only downside are 18" wheels which are going, this is easily a 6k car.

He got it for 2.5k [;)]

but your not going to offer me your 220 for two and a half Frenchy.......

and the guy round the corner won't take it for his new car......

no denying it though, occasionally bargains do come up

Really is a one off guys i imagine, this car is very clean and straight and was only 4 miles away, it was not known to me and was not advertised the guy who bought it kept making him silly offers until he accepted 2.5k, apparently under pressure from the missus as he never used it and it just blocked the garage up.
Wish i had known about it [:(]

No, it was a far superior car. The S2 made a brilliant entry level car and was far, far better than the 8v or S models, but the Turbo is flag carrier.

Andy,
Sell mine, no never Lin bought it for me and now spent around 13k in ten years and I love her (and the wife[:D])

LOL - had to ask, would have been gob smacked if you parted with her. The car that is, not the wife - not that you'd part with Lin - oh you know what I mean! [:D]

I like to think mine was a bargain too, £3100 for a 250 turbo that has covered around 8k since 2003, my budget was 6k but this turned out to be better than all the 6k cars I looked at.

That's even less than I paid for mine, and mine hasn't been near a garage in at least the last 3 owners let alone a heated one!
