Thatcham Cat 1 Question

My insurance company is specifying Thatcham Cat1 Alarm/Immob. quick question -

Cat1 requires engine cover and bonnet switches to be fully compliant, the RS has no switches on either. How have others got around this? Presumably some sort of micro-switch arrangement on a bracket? I am assuming that fitting the standard 964 microswitches would involve some drilling which obviously I dont want to do.

EXTRA SWITCHES CAN BE FITTED AND WIRED IN -MY CUP CAR HAS THEM.

Thanks for the response. The front and rear compartment locks on my car have integral microswitches so it was dead easy to just wire into those.
