Thanks must be forthcoming to R.O Johannes for his commitment and support over the weekend of our Club's National Event.
Our Club needs commited R.O's who put themselves forward to assist and support during times of need.
I commend him. [;)]

Without a doubt, I am sure many thanks are due to the many dozens of tireless workers for their "commitment and support over the weekend of our Club's National Event" who gave up of their time, energy, and resources to making Brands the fantastic event it was and yet they did not get specific mention. Not wanting to sound ungrateful but also not wanting to discount those many workers contributions, and to have proper and precise understanding of what we should be thankful to Johannes for, could you elaborate on his contribution?

Sorry for being a little un-PC, but I always believe that specific named thanks should only be given when it is clearly understood for what we are giving thanks for - especially when it may not be obvious to all reading your original post.

Johannes worked tirelessly for three days, one day on general set up - humping boxes etc, then two days as a last minute stand in on Parade Laps and Passenger Hot Rides. As all you who visited the Sign on Centre and partook in these will remember the huge number of people needing to be attended to.
His calmness and energy will be remembered by me for some time.
