It has been a long time since we have met up at the Sharnbrook due to the pandemic.
I have spoken to our RO and PCGB HQ about what we can do as a temporary replacement for the meets.
I have offered to run a Covid-19 proof drive.
The maximum is 12 cars.
Instead of meeting at the Sharnbrook the participants would meet up at a designated area, have a quick socially distanced beverage & natter and then follow a lead car for about ¾ of an hour to an hour and gather/park up again at a designated area (which could be where you started or somewhere different) have another natter then disperse.
There will, obviously, be stringent Covid compliant rules in place which includes a risk assessment that needs to be sent to the club HQ.
Oh, and you would probably be best bringing your own coffee in a flask as there would be no complimentary Tea/coffee.
I am willing to run this if enough of you are interested.
It is just to, hopefully, temporarily, replace the meetings safely, so that at least some of us are socialising again, even though differently to the norm. (potentially the new normal).
If you are interested, then please let me know asap along with your e-mail address and I will then give out the further details to those first 12.
As we can only accommodate up to 12 cars it will be first come first served sort of scenario but we could do the same for others if there are enough at a different date/time etc...
Initial dates we are looking at are 15th and/or 16th August to meet for start at midday.
