Anyone fancy it? Tunnel to the continent Friday. Sat/Sun at TC. Monday back to Blighty for tea and medals...

Will be there on the Thursday... had to be in Frankfurt this Weds, so am storming in from the Southern front. Cheers Rick

...just back from the opening day. As always, a great show with a fantastic mixture of all sorts of collectors´ cars. I had a few hours only, but enough to be confused afterwards. A monkey bum 964 N-GT (seemed to be a proper car) for 200k EURO - the dealer was quite confident to get his money. Dutch dealer Wolber asking 225k EURO for a 964 RS, a "rebuilt" 964 RS on an original shell (hmm) for 134,500 EURO, and last but not least one of these senseless C4 Lightweight things for 395k EURO - no original wheels btw. I didn´t ask Mr. TS for prices, he had a line-up of three 964 RSs there. Over to you enthusiasts.... It was great to meet you again, Rick, and have a chat - I hope you got out of that epic traffic jam somehow. German public transport was on strike today. And, yes, a British leftover caused some more trouble on the streets of Essen. A WWII bomb, which had not detonated, was found 500m away from the show this morning - that part of town had to be evacuated immediately then. So, the traffic jam came close to London´s daily situation. Anyway, I shouldn´t have mentioned the war, rgds Hacki P.S.: My favourite car today was a Grey Iso Grifo - will have a closer look on Sunday.

These prices if not conceived realistic now will be next year as always dealers quoting next year prices, so the brave buy now. But we all know it's all about the driving these fine cars, there is a Cup I think at euro 295k!

Des, at that price I would expect low km/easy life/original - know anything about the car? I assume it's not the 2,000km rubystone one?

Only heard about the car, apparently not great! Are you still looking, if so let me know as I do get some enquiries still from buyers and sellers for some reason.

Thanks for the reply Des, currently contemplating whilst manically trying to close out the half year, always interested in the market.

Did Tom have the mint white 993 GT2 with him that has just popped up on his website? Just curious as way too rich for my blood....

Dunno, I hope I will not forget looking for it on Sunday. (I was too shocked by the 964s, so no brain capacity left for 993s)

Thanks for the report Herr Hacki. I wanted to be there but work and other commitments have got in the way. You're back Sunday? Tell us how many Verkauft signs you see (whether they're sold it not!).

Indeed Civiv duty calls, 10 weeks now! Full report also please .... But not in spy code please, enigma broken!

It is truly a funny one this car. Built in Weissach with a bolted on cage--they did not even use the Cup shell.
