Taycan cross turismo boot opening issue

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with the boot on my car. It unlatches when I press the release button, but it doesn't lift open on its own. I can't manually lift either. It's just stuck.

So far I've tried:
  1. Resetting the PCM by accessing the engineering mode (holding the top corner of the screen).
  2. Applying gentle downward pressure on the boot while pressing the unlock button.
Unfortunately, neither has resolved the problem.

Does anyone have any other suggestions or know what else I could try? I'm currently in Italy with the car, so any quick fixes or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jav,

It sounds as though you’ve tried Googling your problem, but if you’ve still not resolved it it seems that there’s an emergency release button inside the boot accessed by folding down the rear seats, which with luck might also raise the boot. Worth a try, and at least you’ll be able to access the boot area to see if something is preventing it from opening.
