apologies for not responding to PMs
ive been out of action over Xmas with a flu bug, very annoying

ive got lots of tape and all your details so will send, but I thought maybe we should get together for a Targa love in to share notes

Ive tried all the tips on the internet to stop creaking/leaking and have many cans of sail kote and maclube coz i use them on my sailing boat

i know we are all over the country but how about a Targa specific meet?

invite is out to all 993/996/997 owners out there too

Hi there - this sounds like a great idea. Would love to compare Targa notes with other owners... Also would be a great photo opportunity!
The Silverstone Classic would be the perfect place if we can swing it so that we all can park together. Otherwise I'm sure we could organise something ourselves if we had enough takers.

Another alternative venue for the Targa meet could be at the 'Donington Historic Festival' at the end of April.

The club will be in attendance with the option for us to be able to buy advanced tickets which includes infield passes.

Again only a suggestion but this show may be a better one to group our Targa's together.

Porsche Carerra Cup is a support Race. Quiet often you can get free entry if you are willing to park your "exotic" cars in the paddock for spectators to look at


 
Would also be interested in a Targa meet (am a member just haven't updated profile).
 
Great idea. Count me as well.

Don't think I can make Silverstone but one of the other (April) meets should work for me- subject to obtaining a pass from Mrs CDog996 of course!

I'd also be interested in meeting up & comparing targa notes.

had mine out yesterday & the roof definitely creaks more in the cold!

 
I'm down for the track day at Castle Combe but would also be interested in s meet up. Got roof issues so would love to hear about other people's experiences..
 
I would also be up for a Targa love in meet, I wanted to attend the 996 tech seminar at the club headquarters but full so only on reserve list as full, that could have been a good start but realise that would not include 993/997.
Happy to meet, Silverstone is good for me.
