Evening all - will we be getting a code to book on for the Oulton Park Supercar Pageant in the near future? I've had an email from MSV about registering this year as a private entry, but I normally attend with the Club.

Thanks for any info.

Imagine it will be similar to Donington Historic, they send a lot of emails for that one but worth hanging on for the club package

It's not that kind of event really, as the Club doesn't get anything other than a large parking spot so we're all together.

Can anyone from the R5 Committee comment?

I see that the R5 section of this site is devoid of any events for this year, and no-one from the R5 Committee has responded to this forum thread in the last month so it's not being monitored. Is there an issue with R5 organisation that I don't know about?

I've just had another email from MSV inviting me to attend the Supercar Pageant as one of their display cars, but I'd like to know if R5 will be present at the event this year before I take them up on their offer as I would like to be part of the Porsche display again.

Thanks to anyone for any info.

Thanks Brian. I don't use social media so may have to reach out old-skool.

I guess I was expecting the Club's site to be kept up to date too.

Same as you Dave, I don’t use social media but do have WhatsApp however the lack of updates on this platform is one of the gripes I have with R5 whereas R18 posts on here regularly.

Dan.

Thanks Dan - I get David's R18 emails too and I agree that the communication from him/R18 is certainly better than R5.

I think Matt has been asking for additional help with organising so it may well be a lack of support causing gaps.
