OK, Im slowly working through the list of faults on my car....
The sunroof was broken. I suspect that it got dropped onto its 'pointy' bit at some point.
All the electrics are working ok, but you have to hold down the interlock switch as well as the sunroof switch.
Heres the broken part:
So, onto fixing...
First I made a template of the pointy bit, and stuffed it into the sunroof to check it was ok.
Have a root about in the workshop, and find some 1/2 inch delrin.
Hack to size [
], then Drill and tap M8.
Use one of the existing holes, and a low profile M8 bolt to secure the new pointy bit.
Installed and working [8D]
Ill tidy up the cosmetics one day []
