Set on the most remote and beautiful station of this working heritage railway, Levisham Station House has been lovingly restored and equipped to its pre-war prime. During weekends, bank holidays and special events the Weighbridge Tea Hut is open serving tasty snacks and drinks to visitors,
Departure from Lincoln showground at 09.30am.


Suggested route to Levisham
Start from Lincoln Showground, Lincoln LN2 2NA start 09.30 am
Travel to Brandsburton, then on to Driffield (B1249)
Once in Driffield keep on the B1249 until it ends.
Turn sharp left at the junction downhill (almost a hairpin bend) follow the road around until you reach Spellgate road (it should be your 5th right turn).
Turn right onto Spellgate road.
Keep on Spellgate road passing through Cowlam.
Cross the B1253. Continue on to East Luton
At T junction turn left then first right (towards Wintringham)
At the next T junction turn right (might not look like one as the main road goes left). Then keep left at the next junction (newlands lane) towards West Heslerton.
Cross the A64 to Yedlingham.
Turn right on to B1258 .
Take second left towards Allerston (care 2 left turns together). Keep left just before Allerston towards Wilton.
Turn left onto A170, travel to Thornton le Dale.
Turn right in the middle of Thornton le Dale towards Whitby. At the end of the road turn right onto A169 (Whitby).
Turn left off the A169 towards Locton/Levisham.
Travel to Levisham railway station North Yorkshire YO18 7NN


We can enjoy the Levisham station tea room or having a lunch at the Horseshoes Inn. Let us know your choice.
