Good Day 3.2 Carrera drivers,
I'm taking my Supersport cabrio to the Classic Le Mans at the end of June (routing via Cherbourg) and I'd very much appreciate advice on a useful road spares package to have with me.
The car is in pretty good shape, with no obvious problems, and it will be fully serviced and safety-checked by mid-Sussex Porsche OPC before departure.
I don't have any long-distance experience with the car, although I've owned it for 10 years, so I'd be grateful for pointers!
Thanks in advance.
Geoff

Sounds like your going to have a great trip Geoff.
Having owned a Supersport for some 25 years and can say 'touch wood' I have never had a problem that would stop me completing a journey.

Having said that I can think of three things I would carry:-

1) European Breakdown cover.
2) DME Relay
3) A spare fan belt - This could be fitted by the Breakdown service rather than finishing your trip on the back of a low loader due to them now being able to obtain one.

No doubt other will add to the list.

Have a great trip[:)]

Thanks T911UK - I take it the 'round relay' is the multifunction one? much appreciated, Geoff

Thanks Peter - good reminder - and I think spare bulbs might be a French requirement, anyway. kind regards, geoff
