Hi

I've got one track day left in my SSR's and wondered what the successor to these tyres are? are there any as cheap and good?

Thanks

Rob

Hi Rob

I can highly recommend the Toyo R888's as a successor to the SSR's.

Far more grip in the dry (Spa was awsome) and not too bad in the wet. I got mine from Design 911 but there are loads of suppliers around.

Cheers

Ollie

Thought of them, can remember you were well chuffed at Spa.

Can't find the right sizes tho' for 17's, can only get 40 profile fronts, I need 45's or 50's.

I am a huge fan of the R888. Not only are they a great price, but testing down here have shown that in race mode, they are the fastest of the street legal track tyres. Go for it.

Got to agree with Simon, I have had Cups before now but the 888s are SO progressive and predictable on my RS, just my 10c,
Kevin.
