Stone chips

I have been asked if we know of anyone who can repair stone chips? Whilst a national problem, it is one which typically requires a regional solution so I thought it would be useful to aske here.

I am sure many of us deal with them ourselves, otherwise I know some people collect them until they have enough to have a full panel respray, whilst other still protect the front of their car with sticky-back plastic, but what of repairing a relatively small number of chips professionally? Any recommendations?
 
Can't help with a recommendation for professional repairer but I use Chipex, which I find very good indeed!
 
I'm sure you're an avid reader of PP Tref, so you will have seen this months article comparing Chip-Ex with a pro job won't you...

Locally, someone in the know has recommended 'Dingo's' in the past (I didn't use them so can't comment) and then there's 'Chips-Away' whish have a good rep. But as Geoff say's, if you follow the instructions, you can get good results with 'Chip-Ex' (buy a fine brush though).
 
Graham passed me details of a company "Bumps & Scratches" which does repairs at your own home at our last meeting, and I should have mentioned the ones I use - a touch up pen from Porsche Centre Bournemouth - much nicer paint and brush to use than those from Helfrauds...
