Stolen wheel centres - any solution?

Hi all,

We seem to be suffering from an increase in general crime and theft (Barnes, London) - i guess because of the recession. I've just had my coloured crested wheel centres stolen for the second time in 4 months. OPC tells me 1) this happens just as much to other brands as Porsches (i don't believe them), 2) there is nothing that can be done about it (clearly stupid as this can't be that hard to fix if Porsche wanted to)

Does anybody out there have any solutions? Unfortunately i have no option but to park on the road. In the absence of any great ideas I shall not be replacing them this time (not even with the black and white ones)

The wheel centres have two small holes in them, so anyone with a piece of wire can remove them easily. You could use some epoxy resin to close the holes up, but then anyone with a windscreen suction mount (such as for a tomtom) can then remove them just as easily ! Filling the holes will probably only result in the scumbags damaging the centres trying to remove them, in which case you are no better off
 
smearing dog poo liberally over all 4?? may detract from the overall effect tho i guess!!

Richd, they look excellent. They are made by Ralph Boothe. I have a set of his locking wheel bolts which are very well made.
 
I would not replace for a while, as its probably the same scum bag who is taking them. What a sh*te hole world we live in [:mad:] The trouble with making theft proof is the ar*holes will damage them.
