I have now fitted the chip.I must firstly confess to being a complete plonker...following the instructions I removed the carpet from under the drivers seat........and ....enuff said!
Having then found the Motronic unit it was a doddle to remove, open and fit the chip. Took a 15 minutes to get the thing back in due to the inaccessibility but did it in the end.
What a difference......nothing dramatic in terms of power but certainly considerably smoother particularly at lower revs, and seems to pick up a lot easier, and tickover is silky smooth...none of that drop/lag.
