Steering wheel upgrade - looking for help with PIWIS to enable MF

Hi, is there anyone in the Oxfordshire/Berkshire/Gloucestershire area who has a PIWIS and would be willing to help me enable the multi-function steering wheel setting on a 997.1 ? I have upgraded my original steering wheel- which I have always found a bit thin and the shift buttons (car is tip) were not great either- with a 981/991 MF wheel and original airbag. The swap itself was easy enough (bar the slight fight with the cables which tend to snag if not sitting neatly in the groove), paddles work (these are, in my opinion, a huge improvement over the original ones on the 'triangular' wheel), MF buttons all illuminate, but - the horn does not work.

I have tested the horn (I have a Durametric PRO and it actuates it as expected) and enabled MF but, as a few posts across forums suggest, the horn remains disabled as this won't work with the Durametric, but a PIWIS is required.

I am reluctant to swap the wheel back to the old one and am more than happy to travel 100 miles plus if needed and will pay for the help, so if anyone can help me out then please get in touch, thanks!

Hey Chumbaside, many thanks for your offer - that's about 80 miles from here, so not too far at all. I'll pm you [:)]
