Steering Rack question

Received this enquiry from a Register Member - has anyone got any ideas?

" When you came round you mentioned that you, like me, also have the inner
wheel rubbing on the inner wheel arch when on full lock right.
I think it might be that the steering rack has slipped- yet to check- but
can you ask in your column if anyone else has encountered this?

Anthony has a 1980 Le Mans and I have a 1983 model on respective standard wheels and tyres.
