Evenings All !!! First post be gentle !!!

New owner Turbo S. 2 occasions didn’t start flat battery - Porsche Recovery attended and got going again. Now been into dealership and apparently a new recall has been issued for Battery Monitoring software update - anyone else heard of this one? - is a 2020 car - would you also push for a new battery?

Yes we have heard of software / flat battery problems on the early 992.1 models. I experienced the same on my previous 992.1 Cabrio which was a 2019 early production car and the dealer carried out the upgrade after which I didn’t have any further starting/ battery problems.

Perhaps you should request a full battery condition report, especially as I understand you have only recently purchased the car. Did you buy from a Porsche Centre or Independent dealer?
