Squeaking nsf brake

Hi - small query, picked up my car last Saturday with 1100 miles on it. Now on 1336, c 190 are motorway. Noticed a squeaking noise from the NSF wheel yesterday, as the speed drops to about 30 mph, normally after light braking from a higher speed into a 30 limit.

Is this normal? Am I perhaps braking too lightly? Is that the brakes are not properly bedded in yet? Is that the car has covered relatively few miles (Sept 17 registered and I am 2nd owner).

Appreciate any advice.

The car's not even run-in yet..! My advice is to just drive it and enjoy it and let everything bed-in properly for a few thousand miles or so and see what happens. Some relatively hard braking from higher speeds won't go amiss.

If you're still concerned then go back to the dealership for further investigation.

Thank you...new owner nerves....every squeak etc.... must say responses on this forum are far more friendly than a lot of other forums where there can be ritual ridicule for new members with what are considered to be daft questions.....hopefully my daft questions wwont be for long. Thank you :)

I hope that you'll always get a polite response to any comments and questions on here, so a belated welcome to Porsche ownership, the Club and to the Cayman forum.

Stay in touch with your experience and impressions of your new purchase. The fantastic weather we're experiencing at the moment should give you ample opportunity to get out and drive the car. Hopefully you won't find any problems but if you do you still have a comprehensive Porsche factory warranty upon which to fall back.
