Sports Steering Wheel - Removal

Can anyone confirm how to remove the Sports Steering Wheel from a Cayman S? I believe I need to disconnect the battery and then somehow pop-off the airbag/cover before accessing the fixing to the column - it's the airbag removal bit that I'm not sure about. Do I somehow release this from the rear side of the steering wheel?
