sport mode retro fit for pdk - worth it ?

Hi Guys just picked up a boxster spyder (wil post pics and my thoughts when I get a moment !). It's PDK (which I wanted and I'm by impressed with) but I am just debating wether to get the sport mode retro fitted (which I understand gives you launch, better throttle response and limited PSM.

My question is - is it worth the £800 ? I guess it would make the car more attractive come resale time. The car is just used at weekends and will be going on track a little for some fun.

would be very interested to hear from anyone who's had it done or who has sport chrono (which I believe is the same with the exception of the dash mounted Latimer?).

The difference when using it in manual mode is fairly subtle on the road, but in auto mode the difference is night and day, transforming the car from something that wants to change into a higher gear all the time to something altogether more exciting. So if you're going to drive it in manual all the time I probably wouldn't bother, but in auto it's a different story.
 
Cheers - I've booked it in to the local OPC wednesday - looking forward to trying it at the supercar event Saturday which I'm driving at
