Spluttering 993 can anyone help

just collected my 993 from hendon way motors , on the way back car ran fine on the A1 until low on fuel then with around 50 miles left in the tank it started to splutter really badly almost like it was dropping down a gear but it wasn't

refulled then was ok for a few miles but then the same thing happened a combination of spluttering with temporary loss of power - no warning light came on anywhere

do you think it could just be some rubbish in the fuel tank or something else? Has anyone else come across this before as I'm a new owner ( and slightly worried!)

Thanks

Realy happy that you have found a 993, well done.

Best take it back, it could be so many things (dirty injectors all the way to distributor drive belt, disttibutor cap rotor arm, plugs or plug leads) to air leaks or knock sensor issues air mass sensor ... So many variables.

Hope so much they look after you.

I've just had the same with mine, it wouldn't tickover properly either, I've had it into my local independent and they've changed the lambda sensors and it seems ok now.

As previously stated take it back if you've only just bought it.

Good luck

Chris

I agree that it sounds like a faulty lamda sensor but I would take it back and get Hendon to analyse and repair it
