split dashboard and knocking sound from rear

this might sound a bit stupid but how do you upload a photo that you can actually see on here??? it tells me i can upload a maximum size of 200kb....all my photos are 3mgb

Host it on somewhere like Photobucket, copy the "direct link", click the "image" button when composing a post, and paste the direct link between the two "image" words.

Clonking from the rear could also be a worn/broken gearbox mount. It seems to be an increasingly common problem now. If the transaxle is moving around you might find that selecting gears is difficult during acceleration or when cornering.

When I had clonking on mine,which I was convinced was from the rear, my garage eventually found it was caused by a badly worn anti roll bar drop link bush on the near side front. Changed all the bushes and hey presto quiet as a quiet thing !

Might be worth a look....... On mine the worn bush was allowing the arb to contact the track rod when going over a bump and turning right at the same time.

ok i'll have a proper look all round.. i've just changed the rear parking brake shoes and couldn't see anything obvious at the rear.... thanks for your replies.
