[FONT=calibri"]Ever wondered just what your Porsche is truly capable of, can it still do that 0-60 time that you think it can or will you be massively disappointed, why not truly unleash it's full potential in a safe and responsible environment and find out for yourself at one of the York Raceways R.W.Y.B (Run What You Brung) events on 11th October. We probably all think our cars are quite quick, why not find out just how quick it is in a fully timed run and compare these at the end of the day with other club members to see who will hold the bragging rights all through the winter as this is the last planned event they have for the year.
I have spoken with the organiser from York Raceway and he would be more than happy for us to join in and even offered us our own garage and parking area for PCGB members. The costs are £15.00 per ticket for spectators and entry, so we can watch how the proper fast boys and girls do it, and an extra £30.00 if you wish to participate on track. This would give you a minimum of 6 timed runs to try and achieve your fastest time. The only requirements are a driving licence and a crash helmet whilst on track. Info can be found at www.yorkraceway.org.uk.
Please register your interest on the forum. If this is too much short notice but you are interested anyway please let me know and we could look at it again for next year’s calendar of events. Whilst I realise it is not probably something we as a club might normally get involved with, I must stress it is just for fun and I for one would love to compare my car against others in the same class to see how it would fair. I think it would be an excellent opportunity to see what our cars are truly capable of without running the risk of a speeding ticket. Have you got what it takes to be the R3 Drag king or queen if so register below.![. [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"]](/forum/styles/default/pcgb/space.gif)
Warning! You will probably run the risk of being mocked if you’re slower on the day than a Corsa driver
