Sorry i stand corrected JW.See you soon?
At Prescott last,had some fun with a scrutineer,as i had been out of the scene for a while.
Where are your gloves!I don't need gloves,yes you do !
Your race suit embroidered number and date etc looks to be a replica rip off suit form china or some where! Been using last 3 years every where,but in fact 2 of the numbers have not been embroidered clearly.
He then checked the date of my harness and said everything for next year to do with basic safety will need to be in date.
I did not bother to follow this up,so may be its not happening like the Hans devices to be made mandatory for club racing.

be careful with Hans, I've been pulled up saying that you need 2" belts with HANS by scruts. Very, very hard to argue with scruts, so I've resorted to hiding the HANS during scrutineering now.
Oh and Chris, I have visions of you in jeans, white socks, slip on shoes drifting the R through turns on the ring!!

Hugh, I have an awful lot to learn.
Suit and gloves no problem, need a medical to renew my ARDS licence (which I will not need but will retain), will I need to check the full harnesses are in date ? And Hans ? My helmet will support but ??
You can tell I've never had an off --- spins are as far as it goes so far ...
P.S. When do we need to start booking ?

Des,speed licence is a application form which i think you can down load off the msa web site,dates will be posted on the motorsport web at some point,may be at the end of the season!But you do need to register with Steve K,and you will get all the relevant paperwork,regs,dates etc
I have a cd with all the blue book on,happy to send it to you,it will answer most of your questions and car prep etc
Not sure if you need a medical or not for the speed licence,You do need to be light weight and fit though[
]
You can get medicals at the autosport show,prebook a appointment etc,works well.

Yep, you need to register your interest with SK and pay the fee -just to clarify, you will have to book the event direct with the organising motor club and not SK, comprendre??? And welcome to the maddest few seconds you will ever have on track......[
