Over 40 years ago I placed one of my Honda CBX 1000's with a Honda main dealer to sell for me. They sold it but were then slow to pay me, fortunately with some persuasion they did, shortly after they went bust. After that near miss I would never place a vehicle on a SOR basis again.
 
I always need a hard check to ascertain
the dealer has set up a separate account for clients money.This should be practice
for any reputable business

You should check out the 911uk forum, lots of stories from people who got screwed over by them.

It is a treasure trove of places to do or not do your business with :)

There are some videos on YT as well where a group of the people he defrauded sent some heavies around to try and get their money back.
