Morning all,
I'm hoping someone might have one of these lying around, its the coolant connection to the turbo on my '86 944T.
Part no is 951 106 055 00
Mine is definitely showing its age!
Let me know if you have one you are willing to let go of
Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

That part has been superseeded with a new pipe union and rubber hose with blanket by Porsche, it is on my list of jobs for my 1990 Turbo to update.

99923035602 - Pipe Union - £7.16
95110604800 - Coolant hose - £68.75 (might be able to make your own hose cheaper)

Thanks yes I eventually worked out that the design had changed. I guess I will have to go that route. Got to say that does not look like £68.75 worth of hose!
I also worked out that the original part is a pretty standard metric 90 deg elbow tail m22 female fitting into 14mm hose tail so I might try my local pneumatics accessory supplier to check out getting a direct replacement.
Thanks again
Mark

Be interested to know how you get on - I might follow the same idea when replacing mine

Quick update, I sourced a 90 deg metric elbow hose tail from our local distributor and a silicone hose 16 to 13 mm reducer from one of the many suppliers of aftermarket hoses which I had to cut down to length and this is the result. I haven't tested in anger yet but its a whole lot better than the one I took off! Total cost around £15.

Hi All
Having a clearout and wanted other members to have the oppprtunity first. The prices are less than eBay but check if you like. The items have been in my loft for a number of years.
I have a 944 luggage compartment cover in black. It is the spring loaded type for cars without split folding rear seats. It is in good condition with no rips or tears and the cover retracts when released. The two metal clips that hold it out are firm and in good condition. £70.00
Also the under bumper rear spoiler seen fitted to the 944 Turbo. It has been prepped and sprayed in primer ready to take your colour choice. All the holes are there but you will need nuts/screws. £120.00

Long shot but I am after a heater control unit with AC. Bit annoying as only the plastic trim to screw it on is broken. Could also use left and right rear quarter trim panels in black (speaker panels)

Hi Rob - the rear quarter trim panels are still available from Porsche - there are two different panels, one for standard speaker setup and one for the 10 speaker setup. I only have the price of the 10-speaker trim panel to hand and that is £140 inc VAT, I'd assume the standard panel is cheaper. I've also seen several listed on ebay...

If yours is anything like mine - water is creeping in through the rear hatch glass where it is delaminating from the frame and rotting the mdf on the trim panel, so make sure you fix any leaks in this area before going to the expense of new trim panels.

I'm after a complete set of stone guards and the rear porshe script in black if anyone has spares kicking about.
Thanks

Someone was selling sets on here and ebay a while back, think I paid about £15 for some. Haven't bothered fitting them yet. The old ones are tricky to remove.

The stickers came off with a plastic scraper. The adhesive left was the PITA, until I tried some old metal polish, there was something in it that softened the adhesive enough to wipe it off.

Anyone got Part 16 spare?

Idle Stabilisation Valve bracket for a Turbo.

Parts 15 were damaged (got new ones from OPC) and when I tried to remove 16 one of the mounting ears was cracked all the way through.

Would it be possible to fabricate a new one from some steel or aluminium strip and an appropriately sized bolt thru hose clip? Weld the hose clip onto the strip and as good as original?

I'm sure rubber lined clamps very similar are stocked by Industrial Hydraulics stockists in various sizes for suspending & isolating high pressure hydraulic lines & possibly Air conditioning specialists for similar reasons.
They eliminate "buzz" from installations.

Plastic plug required for rear bumper to cover towing socket in the rubber insert
