ORIGINAL: Wigeon Incognito

I have a used set of 17" Boxster 'Twist' style wheels with tyres (but no centre caps) for sale if anybody is interested.

I've emailed you about those.

I don't want to sound like Mr Grumpy but I think I'd rather people remove the item when it is sold rather than putting 'SOLD' beside it. It takes twice as long to go through the posts looking at stuff. It feels like half the stuff actually listed above isn't actually available anymore.

After being made to clear out the shed, I have the following parts from a G plate S2 surplus to requirements:

ARBs, 26.8mm front, 16mm rear. £25 for the pair Now on ebay, along with some 24mm torsion bars..

Rear shocks, boge gas type. Some damping left but not great. Free otherwise they'll be binned

Front struts, one damper completely dead but may be useful for koni conversion. £15

Cylinder head. Good condition, no cracks etc, bought used from PH in Shardlow. No cams, tensioner etc, but the cam caps are included. Valves included but missing a valve spring and several of the the spring seat shims. £200

All parts in Nottingham, collection would be best as they're all fairly big and heavy. PM or email me through this site if you need any more info, photos of all the above are available...

Tim

Brand new and boxed reference/speed sensor. This is the OEM Bosch part and I bought it suspecting my reference sensor was kaput but it turned out it was fine. Cost £75 brand new - it's up for sale for £50.

944 turbo rear torsion bars. A good upgrade for 944 n/a's. These are the same bars that are fitted to S2's and the early 220bhp turbo's (and 968's I think). It is 23.5mm in dia. I have no idea as to the equivalent spring rate. £80

944 turbo rear shock absorbers (pair). Stock Boge/Sachs non-adjustable shock absorbers as installed on S2's and turbo's. I bought them off ebay but never installed as I went the KW route. They were advertised as being on the previous car for only 6 months. They look OK though there is a crack on one of the plastic shrouds but this shouldn't be an problem regarding the working or operation of the shocker. Apparently these shrouds are prone to cracking. £20.

944 turbo rear shock absorbers (pair). These are the same as the item above but the ones that came off my car when I installed the KW. Perfectly functioning and MOT passable. Obviously they have a fair few miles on them so are probably beyond their best but were working perfectly fine before I removed them. £10.

944 turbo front struts/shocks & springs (pair). These are the non-adjustable stock S2/turbo Boge Sachs front struts. Come complete minus the top mounts (which I am keeping). They were perfectly serviceable before I removed them for my KW upgrade. Had recently passed an MOT with no signs of any leakage or play in the strut stanction. A good upgrade for an N/A 944 or even a good 2nd set for someone to upgrade with Koni adjustable inserts. £100.

Drop me a PM if you are interested in any of the items above and i'll be glad to provide more details/pictures if required. Cheers.

Hi Rob,

You should have no problem finding all the bits from any of the usual breakers, or look for a suitable car on e-bay. I'd consider buying a whole car and then selling the bits you don't need to break even!

Try porsche-apart or Douglas Valley, they should have a matching donor car in stock.
