Some more R18 Events over the next few weeks

We have a number of events coming up in the next few weeks, some of which require booking.

27th September – Monthly Meeting Garstang Golf Club. (NOTE CHANGE OF WEDNESDAY)
This evening we would like to discuss future events for 2024, and any offers from volunteers to organise events, or suggestions for speakers or venues. Shows would be most welcome. I have had a volunteer to organise a couple of drives and a WOTY so far.

Sunday 1st October – Cumbria Drive and Lunch. Meet near Carnforth to leave at 9.30am for a run around the Lake District. Lunch by the side of Lake Windermere at The Boardwalk Bar and Grill. Further details will be provided a few days before the event. We are almost fully booked, so if you are interested please contact Alan Ridehalgh today to book and for further details.

Don’t forget to check out the M6 roadworks situation which is causing major holdups on both the M6 and A6 between Preston and Lancaster.

Sunday 8th October Cars & Coffee – The Mill at St Catherine's, Lostock Hall, Bamber Bridge. This may be followed by a drive into West Lancashire, leaving The Mill at 11.00. More details to follow.

Sunday 15th October – Visit to The Spitfire Museum, Blackpool. Numbers are limited by the venue and pre-booking and pre-payment direct to the venue is essential.

Sunday 29th October – Visit to Bancroft Mill Engine Museum. See https://bancroftmill.org.uk for more information. Tours start at 12.30. Meet at The Workshop Coffee Shop, Padiham. More info to follow later. Contact Alan Ridehalgh is f you will be attending.
