We have a number of events coming up before the end of the month which might be of interest:
Thursday 24 September – Monthly Morning Coffee Meet up
Malthouse Farm, Whittle-le-Woods, Chorley at 10am.
These successful informal monthly morning coffee meetings continue and we will be at Malthouse Farm, Near Chorley from 10am. Most attendees stay on at the venues for lunch. Take car with parking and don’t go onto The David Lloyd Leisure car park, next door.
Friday 25 September – Macmillan Coffee Morning at Porsche Centre South Lakes
We have been invited to this event between 10am and 12noon. No booking is required and all donations go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support. They are holding a fantastic raffle with donated prizes from the Low Wood Hotel, Lakeland Motor Museum, Holker Hall, Mastercraft Boats, a detail of your car and many others who have provided luxury gifts. In addition, Porsche Centre South Lakes will donate 15% of the value of any items purchased at full price from its Porsche Lifestyle Shop (not any already discounted items) to Macmillan. You need to quote Macmillan at checkout.
Sunday 27 September – Magic Motor Fest – Farnworth BL4 0EA
This is a Sports & Classic Car and Motorcycle Show to support the charity ‘Speed of Sight.’ Mike Newman BEM was born blind and has achieved eight world records, including becoming the first blind person to drive a car solo at over 200 mph. Visitors will have the chance to learn more about the charity, meet Mike at the show, and see one of Speed Of Sight’s specially manufactured dual-controlled racing cars.

- Up to 200 cars and motorbikes from a wide range of clubs, groups, and individual owners.
- Vehicle categories expected to include vintage, modern classic, sports, EV, performance, and supercars.
- Individual car and bike owners are welcome to attend free of charge, with an optional £5 donation to Speed Of Sight.
- All participating individual owners will receive free entry into the prize draw for best vehicle in their category, with an overall Best in Show award presented by a VIP guest.
- The day will also include a motor jumble and a separate car boot sale.
