Who has snow in their area?
Just a light covering in Luton at the time of posting, but it's looking ominous for Tuesday...
[:)]

I was quite expecting a huge fall this afternoon. When I was heading for St Albans there were some seriously large cloud formatations heading in from the east. All we got was a quick flurry which was gone within the hour.

Just been out to put car in and found a bit more though

But nothing like the big falls of Feb (?) last year and the year before. The sky is currently clear in Watford so who knows ? (20:20)

just to let you no as we were reading your post looked out of window and guess what its snowing in shefford beds

Shud all ave tried Brent Cross abt 4 00, sneaking off to avoid any potential snow , water main burst , gridlocked 3 hours to St Albans ..................still did nt get much snow just heavy leg with rs clutch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, it was all a big fuss about nothing really, nothing like them few days last year when all of Luton was in utter gridlock.

Bad luck with that burst water main Vic

Nice piccy Richard [:)] I'd like to see someone get the same effect in Photoshop

In fact nice site! If you see a 924 can you do an artistic piccy for the cover of Porsche Post please? [:)]

I'll take a photo of the salt eating away the body work [:)] No I've got nothing against air cooled - in fact I'd love a 928 GTS if anyone has one going for £10K. This is the first year I've run my 911 all year round. The snow started with my trip over the Stelvio Pass in May and this is the first year it's been out on the road between Nov and Feb. Given the state of my front wing (and the evil that lies beneath) I think a snow covering is a real addition !

Am I the only one who likes seeing his 911 really dirty ? I can appreciate a concours car in August but I love seeing used and dirty Porsche. I think it goes back to the 993RS I saw at London Colney (and beat across the M25 roundabout) which looked like it had just crossed the Alps too. Real cars - real use.

Was that 993 speed yellow ,covered in track day grime , post very muddy Doni? I get the Viagara blue one pretty dirty as well cos i use it daily...............but they both get put to bed clean!!![Live just abt 2 miles from dat r/abt]
Admit i ve begged the mini this morning ..............thats black will definitely need a wash , but not till its warmer!!b

Vic - no it was a dark green colour , a metallic and not BRG. Looked like it was caked with road salt and dirt rather than track grubbiness. If you know the junction I came down the London Colney by pass to the roundabout for Sainsburys and McD where this RS was waiting. As luck would happen I arrive just as it cleared and whizzed across and over the other side to the M1 bound M25. I knew the RS had spotted me and wondered how long he'd take to catch up. Not long as it happened. I pressed the loud pedal as I joined the M25 but didn't have much hope [;)] and he quickly caught up for a wave and then legged it.

For the benefit of record we/I didn't race and didn't do anything silly on the roundabout. Just one of those amusing moments of Porsche ownership.

Now if he's on here and says that he caught me before that - well he's telling porkers [:D]

Did u really mean 993 rs ???? The only car i know round here like that is a 964 rs ,unique in a BMW green with an rs badge , actually, a v. old LHD 964 AUTOMATIC !!!!! hELPED THE GUY BUY IT ABT 3 YEARS AGO,he lives in Radlett.......................only ever seen one 993 rs in green ,very very bright green .........................shall watch out either way ............
