Having just had an email from Tony Murphy (996 RS) as a current 996 owner, I thought I’d share this information in case it might be of any use to anyone else. Although Deb & I can’t make this I did think it sounds like a pretty good event, albeit a bit of a trek for one day.
The reasoning behind the Club listing this as a sixes and sevens event, is simple really, since the current race championship primarily consists of cars from that modern classic era, anyone with a 996, 986, 997 or 987 (hence the sixes and sevens tag) is invited to go along and be part of the day, although apparently any member is still welcome to attend.
