Event: Sixes and Sevens at Porsche Club Donington Race Day organised by the 996 & 997 Registers
Date: Saturday, 26 September 2026
Time: Start 8.30am, finish 5pm

The Porsche Club Race Championship and Boxster Cup are taking place at Donington Park. This will not only be a race day, but also a Porsche day, and Porsche Club will have use of the Launchpad Building next to the paddock, which will include club display parking and hospitality (Teas and coffee). There is a full day on racing on track with supporting classes featuring Sports 2000, Radical Cup UK, Clubmans Sports Prototypes and Legends cars.

More than just a Porsche Race day, we are focusing on modern classics, what might be referred to as sixes and sevens. As the race championship mainly consists of cars from the modern classic era, we are inviting anyone with a 996, 986, 997 or 987 (so sixes and sevens) from the 911, Cayman or Boxster range to be part of the day, although any Club member is welcome to attend.

In the launchpad building we will have guest speakers from Hartech talking about M96/ M97 engines, all things IMS and bore score, as well as other guests, including Porsche Nottingham, Pirelli and Ian Pye from Prepworks who has developed adjustable suspension kits with Nitron for 996, 997, Caymans and Boxsters. The building will be open from 08.30 for refreshments, however the rest of the day's timings will be firmed up once we have the programme for the day from Donnington, so we can work around the race times.

This will be a day of racing and club community, and the display cars can take part in a parade laps of the race circuit at the end of the day, take part in the grid walk, visit the pits and more, so we look forward to seeing you there for a great day.

To get discounted tickets go via the Porsche Club website and use the link. Tickets are available for £15 up to the 12th September, with a normal on the day gate price of £22. When you follow the link it will take you to the MSV page, where you need to register your car details and then follow "Display package Options" route, selecting "with a club", and use code 8168 for discount and the Porsche Club area access and display parking.
