Our first R15 winter Sunday get together will be at Apex Race Centre at Cullompton on the 8th Oct from 11am until 1 pm where we will have the chance to try a race simulator. We have booked the centre ( 4 Simulators ) for a 2 hour session and are looking to hold Carrera Cup type races.
The event is limited to 16 places and we still have a few spots available to anyone interested. The cost is £17.50
Any R15 members interested please email us on r15@porscheclubgb.com

Thanks
Geoff

Hi All,

There are still a couple of places available if anyone is interested for this Sunday between 11am and 1pm with a bite to eat afterwards for those that are hungry.

Well to all those that missed out, we had a really enjoyable morning (eventually) at the Refuel site on the Apex race car simulators. We had 12 in attendance for an 11am start. Unfortunately there was also a Ford event at Refuel and big big problems getting in but the guys at Apex extended our 2 hour slot by an hour to give us plenty of sim time. We had a get to know the sim session where we drove Goodwood in front wheel drive Civics followed by a session in GT4's again round Goodwood as we were supposed to have now learnt the circuit ( not all of us) and finally we all had a go in GT3RS around Donnington which I think most of us preferred. I know some had to leave early due to the late start didn't manage to get in all the sessions. If anyone feels shortchanged please drop me a PM and I'll see what can be done.
Overall I think it is fair to say that the lads that came with Dad's certainly put us old time Porsche enthusiasts to shame. Well done lads and generally I think most felt they would do it again. An enjoyable morning, also thanks to Keith and Toby for coming along and supporting.
