Silverstone today

Really enjoyed today; the parade laps were less of a parade than I had imagined and really good fun. The old girl held her own, but I think the GT3 in front of me just had the edge on the straights!

Guess who won the GT experience by getting the equal best score of the day on the Batak?

[:)]

Very happy

I agree it wAs a brilliant day! While I didn't get to drive anything I was hugely impressed by getting taken out in the panameras. Savagely fast, shame about the looks!

Looking fwd to tomorrow.

And the score was?

It was a great day for those that came with older children or just adults. I myself had responsability for the four year old today. While he found the ice- cream van a bonus, I found the £15 entry fee for what was basically a long walk through an expensive car park, a bit of a let down.

Putting the entry fee to one side, I was very impressed by the support and quality/age of the cars on show.

If another opportunity to visit the facilities comes around again, I'll swap the four year old for the wife.

I loved the Panamera on the low friction circuit too. I used to hate the look of the car as well, but strangely it seems to be growing on me. If I only had a spare £60k

You'd been practising, hadn't you? [;)][;)]

Well done, and the refurbed wheels look great. McNulty wonders whether he still has a spare key anywhere so he can steal the car back.....[:D]

Really enjoyed the Panameras on the low friction course. Such a shame that what is clearly dynamically a fabulous car looks like it does. Silverstone was great - today at the RAC was an excellent day too. [:)]
